Binance, a cryptocurrency exchange, participated in a Virtual Asset Investigation Course (VAIC) organized by the Cyber Security and Technology Crime Bureau (CSTCB) of the Hong Kong Police Force.
The five-day training aimed to equip the Hong Kong authorities with the knowledge and capability to fight and prevent crypto-related crime.
Binance covered topics such as case studies on cryptocurrency investigation techniques and how the exchange can assist law enforcement agencies with criminal investigations. Binance is committed to building a secure cryptocurrency ecosystem and launched its Global Law Enforcement Training Program in 2022.
So far, the exchange has conducted over 70 workshops for law enforcement agencies worldwide with the goal of fighting digital financial crimes and cybercrimes, particularly in the cryptocurrency industry.
